Day 1 : Antananarivo - Andasibe
Morning pick up from the hotel. City tour to enjoy the view from the upper town before starting to drive towards Andasibe. Stop along the way to admire beautiful sceneries. At about half way, stop at Madagascar Exotic Park, a small reserve which holds several genus of reptiles. Check the amazing leaf-tailed gecko and a lot of colourful chameleons. Then continue. Upon arrival in Andasibe, check in at the hotel near the reserve. Evening free for a walk in the village. Dinner and overnight at the hotel
Day 2 : Andasibe
Morning drive to Andasibe Mantadia national park. This very luxuriant forest which is about 1h from the village. 4h walk offers opportunity to meet endemic species like the rare bird called pittalike ground roller or endemic lemurs like the diademed sifaka, reptiles, … Picnic lunch. After the visit, back to the hotel. Afternoon visit at "V.O.I" reserve for more wildlife. Later, night walk in search of other species of lemurs, chameleon, frogs... Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 3 : Andasibe
Morning hike at Andasibe Perinet national park. This is the best place to meet the largest species of lemur, the Indri Indri. Meet some birds, reptiles, ... and many others. After the visit, lunch in the nearby restaurant. Then afternoon visit at "Vakona" private reserve and get 'in touch' with those lemurs on a small island. This is also an occasion to see how a "fosa" looks like. After the visit, back to the hotel to prepare for another night walk. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 4 : Andasibe - Manambato - Akanin'ny Nofy
In the morning back on the ravinala road to the East. 12km after Brickaville, leave the main road to continue on a small muddy track until Manambato. This village is at the beach of Rasoabe Lake which is part of the Pangalanes Canal. At Manambato, meet and boat transfer to Akanin'ny Nofy. During this transfer one can enjoy the beauty of the Pangalane Canal with its green vegetation and clear water, ... At Akanin'ny Nofy, check in. Afternoon visit of the private reserve of Palmarium. A small forest station that holds some more species of wildlife... Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 5 : Akanin'ny Nofy
In the morning, another walk in the reserve of Palmarium. Afternoon at leisure. In the evening, night walk in the reserve. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 6 : Akanin'ny Nofy - Toamasina
After breakfast, continue to discover the Pangalanes' Canal during the boat transfer to the city of Toamasina which takes about 3 hours. Picnic lunch. At Toamasina, meet and transfer to the hotel. City tour including local markets, the railway station, ... In the evening, dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 7 : Toamasina - Antananarivo - Antsiranana
Transfer to the airport and flight to Antananarivo and then Antsiranana in the North. At Antsiranana, meet and transfer to the hotel. Afternoon excursion to the East of the city around the Sakalava bay. Panoramic view, beach, ... Later, drive back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 8 : Antsiranana - Joffre Ville
In the morning, after breakfast, drive to Joffre Ville. After about one hour, check in at the hotel. Start to explore the Amber Mountain national park in search of its wildlife (lemurs, birds, reptiles, ...). Picnic lunch during the day in the park. Late afternoon, come back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.
Day 9 : Joffre Ville - Ankarana
In the morning, start driving towards Ankarana. Enjoy beautiful scenery with typical village, mountains, mangroves... Later, leave the main road and take a small off-road track leading to the "Red Tsingy". Hidden in the bush, this unique scenery is the result of the erosion. Picnic lunch. After the visit, drive back to join the national road and continue to Ankarana. Uppon arrival, check in. Afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 10 : Ankarana - Ankify
Morning hike in the Tsingy of Ankarana national park. With its special panoramas, discover endemic plants and animals with more species of lemurs, birds, ... After the visit, drive to Ankify in the afternoon. Arrived at Ankify, check in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight.
Day 11 : Ankify - Nosy Be
Boat transfer to Nosy Be. At Nosy Be, meet and transfer to the hotel. Check in at the hotel. Day at leisure. Optional activities available. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 12 and 13 : Nosy Be
Days at leisure. Optional activities available. Possibility to have boat excursion onto the surrounding islands or discover Nosy Be itself. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 14 : Nosy be - Antananarivo
Transfer to airport. Flight to Antananarivo. Arriving in Antananarivo, meet and transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 15 : Antananarivo
Depending on the flight schedule, possibility to visit the Ambohimanga palace at about 21km North of the city before transfer to airport for international flight.
