This hike is entirely in the Isalo National Park which covers an area of 81,540 ha. It therefore makes a loop that begins with the village of Ranohira and ends with the same village. We find some villages during the first day of walking, but as soon as we enter the park, we do not meet people until the end of the march. This walk is mainly to assess a variety of landscape with deep canyons, mountains, rivers and small natural pool, natural savannahs and forests with wild animals. To be able to walk six hours a day, we need at least 5 days. All transfers by car like Tulear-Ranohira and Ranohira-Tulear and other small transfers are included in the organization. The tour guide, porters, camping equipment, and full board during the tour are also included. As the park of Isalo is 750 km from the capital, we found that the aircraft is the best way for the driveway and back.
